In April 2018, in the U.S Louisville, 1648 teams from more than 50 countries and regions entered the VEX World Championships and once again set the Guinness World Record. It is the most attended robotics competition in the world.

VEX Robotics World Championship, has been recognized as the world’s largest robotics competition by Guinness World Records in 2016 and 2018. In May of 2021, VEX was awarded it’s third Guinness World Record – this time as the largest online robotics competition where over 1,400 teams participated.
